Type HRV reverse circulation vertical pumps are same as HR pumps with vertical construction. This arrangement is ideal for liquids operating at vaporization points. More often, such liquids are liable to get vaporized by absorbing the residual heat generated in the motor during stoppage of pump which may cause bearing wear on restart. Vertical construction avoids this by ensuring thorough venting from the top.
